SP203-1Modular Scheme for Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
The objective of the BAFE is to provide a means by which, users of fire protection system and regulatory authorities can be confident that the companies providing and maintaining fire alarm systems have procedures in place to effectively undertake the work they carry out.
The scheme has been split into four modules, the intention of this is to ensure that companies only gain BAFE registration for the modules in which they are competent. The four modules are System Design, Installation, Commissioning & Handover and Maintenance.
In October 2008 Power Plus (Dewsbury) Ltd was successfully awarded all four modules of this scheme, setting us apart from the majority of fire protection companies.
